iPhone 4G Unofficially Revealed?
Credits to Gizmodo for the video.
In an American bar in Redwood City, the above was found, apparently a prototype of the iPhone 4G. A Gizmodo employee had found this lying on the floor and after around a week of using and testing the phone, Gizmodo have said that this is in fact the new iPhone 4G, as further evidence Apple have also announced that they've lost an iPhone 4G prototype. As even further proof, Gizmodo opened up this iPhone and found that all of the internal componenets were indeed branded by Apple, also the Phone does indeed sync up to iTunes successfully, meaning this is no cheap chinese knock-off and is most likely the new iPhone 4G.
For a full list of changes to this phone see below:
• The back is entirely flat, made of either glass (more likely) or ceramic or shiny plastic in order for the cell signal to poke through. Tapping on the back makes a more hollow and higher pitched sound compared to tapping on the glass on the front/screen, but that could just be the orientation of components inside making for a different sound
• An aluminum border going completely around the outside
• Slightly smaller screen than the 3GS (but seemingly higher resolution)
• Everything is more squared off
• 3 grams heavier
• 16% Larger battery
• Internals components are shrunken, miniaturized and reduced to make room for the larger battery
