Gears Of War 3 Now Officialy Announced And Revealed!

Cliff Bleszinski finally made an appearance on last nights Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. He revealed Gears Of War 3 alongside a trailer for it, the trailer entitled “Ashes To Ashes” reveals much older characters, playable female characters, a new double-barrelled shotgun and a new type of enemy known as the “Lambants” that can shape shift. Bleszinski also mentioned that the Lambants are a much bigger threat then the Locust.
The trailer however did not feature the rumoured underwater combat or the giant mech suits. Bleszinski also revealed that the game should be out around April 8th 2011, although a few hours later an official release date was confirmed of April 5, 2011 in North America and Asia, April 7 in Japan, and April 8 in Europe and the rest of the world.
